At Family Health Centers of Baltimore, insurance
worries never stand in the way of receiving the
quality health care! We make sure that service is
available regardless of insurance status. Family
Health Centers of Baltimore accepts most major
insurance, Medicaid and HMO’s, meaning no one has to
worry about affording quality care. The Health
Center can arrange for sliding-scale fees to assist
the uninsured with physician and other expenses and
even pay the one dollar pharmacy assistance co-pay
for our qualified medical assistance patients. These
are only a few of the ways we provide quality,
affordable and hassle-free health care.
Here at Family Health Centers of Baltimore, our
mission is to improve the quality of life for each
and every one of our patients. We strive to provide
the very best adult, pediatric, dental and OB/GYN
care to everyone we serve.
Our state-of-the-art facilities use the latest
equipment and technology, and our staff includes
board-eligible and board-certified physicians. In
addition, there is a lab and pharmacy on-site at our
Cherry Hill Road location. No more extra trips or
waiting in long lines!
Family Health Centers of Baltimore physicians are
available for appointments Monday through Friday and
every other Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Same day appointments are available when the
schedule permits. The pharmacy is open weekdays from
9 am to 8 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm. Some
insurances require a referral before an appointment
can be scheduled for specialty services, such as OB
or podiatry. Patients must have a referral from
their primary-care physician. Patients must also
remember to bring their insurance card. For anyone
who is uninsured, proof of income and family size is
required to become eligible for reduced fees for
Doctor’s visits, Prescriptions and for Lab Services.
