Dear Staff, Supporters, and Communities:
Challenge
and change are two things we face daily in our effort to
deliver the highest quality health care. When compared
to the recent devastations due to hurricanes Katrina and
Rita, our challenges are relatively minor. Constantly
faced with rising costs, our care delivery focus remains
on providing the best level of service, getting the
maximum benefit from each dollar spent, and nurturing a
conducive and supportive work environment for our
employees. We make every effort to make the Family
Health Centers of Baltimore work environment as
attractive a place to work as it is a place to receive
high quality health care.
As we prepared for JACHO certification, we
expanded
our scope of service by building our OB/GYN practice and
many changes in our business that will help us work
smarter by being more efficient and effective.
Regardless of our size, we remain true to our motto:
Small enough
to care,
Big
enough to serve.
Going forward, we appreciate, need and hope for your
important
effort and support in helping us to make the Family
Health Centers of Baltimore one of the finest health
care facilities in the city of Baltimore and the state
of Maryland.
Sincerely,
Alvin Lee
Board Chair
